Account Managers

As Madison Healthcare Insurance Services continues to grow, we are looking for successful people to become Madison Account Managers. Talented people in our administrative/sales force help us maintain our position as an industry leader in Medical Malpractice insurance placements.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously
  • Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverage’s for accuracy
  • Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals
  • Excellent organizational and time management discipline
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess excellent data entry skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

Account Manager/Commercial Lines CSR

Ideal candidates must have 3-5 years minimum insurance experience as an Account Manager servicing mid to large commercial accounts, all lines of coverage. Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills required. Knowledge of medical malpractice insurance is a plus.

Education/Experience

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years related work experience in the insurance industry
  • California property & casualty insurance license
  • Maintain continuing education requirements for California property & casualty license renewal

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Applied Systems (TAM) Knowledge is a plus

Sales Professionals

Madison Healthcare Insurance Services is one of the leading insurance brokerages in the nation specializing in the healthcare industry. We work with physicians, surgeons, medical groups, ACO’s, hospitals, IPA’s, urgent care centers, surgical centers and all ancillary facilities.

We are currently seeking Sales Professionals nationwide, who’s focus is on the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve objectives established in annual producer sales plan.
  • Prospect for new business from your existing clients and utilizing our CRM database.
  • Contact prospects for the purpose of providing a quote and making sales.
  • Collect risk and underwriting information including completed application(s) and loss history.
  • Work with account managers to complete submissions for underwriting and selection of potential markets.
  • Conduct client and prospect appointments communicating proposals and renewals, explaining details and communicating desire to conduct business.
  • Introduce service person to clients and request that service calls be directed to them and forward all service related calls to assigned service person.
  • Work with account managers for renewals, when appropriate, by reviewing expiration listing to determine appropriate actions and collection of information is needed to prepare submissions for renewal.
  • Promote Madison in the community.
  • Work in a team setting to meet the clients’ needs, while focusing on the Madison “system” utilizing our substantial resources in the areas of client service, technical support, accounting and management.
  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.

  • 3+ years of insurance sales experience
